Now familiar with this middle-aged Haas TL-1 CNC Lathe. Turned a crankshaft-drive-pulley out of 100mm mild steel stock. The model and CAM was done in Fusion 360.
Dry fitting my birch plywood storage bed made over the Christmas holidays. The laser-etched illustration depicts a satyr milking a goat. The image was taken from the title page Théophile Gautier’s Voyage en Italie.
Evening-Class worked on a mail art inspired magazine. My entry amounts to a semi-sensical materialist picture essay (ugh) which patchworks recent ideas on craft, death n’ ceremony. I cannot emphasise enough the effect that Phippe Nitchse’s euphaniaisa machine has had on my thinking, so maybe this output can be viewed as another way of my subconscious stressing its importance. Michael Wallace (online anon) collected my documents and put the layout together.
